What are NURBS surfaces?
- [Narrator] In the freestyle workbench, there are several ways to create surfaces that do not require curves and some of them do not require any geometry whatsoever. Located under the planer patch, you'll see that there are additional tools. There's 3 point patch as well as 4 point patch. The first one, planer patch, allows me to pick two diagonal points. Now you'll notice I've picked the first point and at this moment, I could right mouse click and say edit orders. This allows me to control how much math is in the surface. This can always be changed later on as well so if you don't catch that now, it's not a big problem or anything like that. I'll just hit close, and to finish off the surface, I pick the next diagonal point. Once again, under the planer patch tool, I go to 3 point patch and for this, you pick two diagonal points and the third point is allowing you to determine the size of that surface. Once again…
