The AEC workflow

- [Instructor] In the previous movie, we learned about multipass renders. And having rendered out our scene in separate passes, we now want to composite the result in after effects. In the render settings let's open this up and in the save dialogue we're just going to twirl up regular image and look at this compositing project file option. Cinema 4D, can generate a file which is in a format called AEC and it allows you to import all the passes into after effects in a composition that has the BT pass rebuilt for us, which will save a lot of time. We'd have to check on save, and make sure the target application is after effects. If we check the appropriate box we can also choose to save 3D data such as lights, cameras, and knowles into after effects. You can choose to save this project file separately or do it at the same time as your render, you'll need to make sure that you have the Cinema 4D in border plugin in your after…
