The AEC workflow

- In the previous movie we learned about Multi-Pass renders and having rendered out our scene in separate passes we now want to composite the result in Adobe After Effects. If we look at our render settings here and just come down to where it says compositing project file. Let's just come down to there. Now, Cinema 4D can generate a file and the format is called AEC. You just have to choose to save it. I'm making sure my target application is After Effects. And I'd want to include things like, 3D data as well. Now, the AEC file allows you to import all the passes in Cinema 4D in a composition that has the Beauty Bars rebuild and that saves us some time. Now if we check the appropriate box as I've done here. We can also choose to save 3D data, such as lights, cameras, and nulls into Adobe After Effects but only if the proper plug-in has been installed. You'll want to make sure you have the C4D imports to plug-in, which you can find in your Exchange plug-ins folder in your Cinema 4D…
