Animating animated materials
- [Instructor] Most properties in Cinema 4D can be animated and the properties of materials can also be animated. Let's take a look. We'll create a new material, and double-click to open it up, it doesn't matter what channel we're in, we'll just stay in the color channel, and in this texture field I'm going to add a noise shader. We'll click here to go into the noise, and you'll see that we have this field called animation speed, so we can increase this value in small increments if we like, or just to see what's going on, I'll change it up to something like .5 and them I'll increase the contrast by changing the low clip and maybe the high clip, just so we can see what's going on here. And I've just increased the global scale. Now if I right-click on this and choose animate, you can see the texture is animating. So I'll just right-click here and uncheck that. You'll also notice that on the left, there is a dot here which means we can record each of these properties and then animate…
