Apply materials to selections

- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to touch on how to apply multiple materials to objects using selections. And we'll also discuss the tag hierarchy. So in this scene, we've got our banana model. Now, first I want to create a couple of materials. So I'm going to come over to the material manager and double click. And then I'm going to double click on this material one more time to open it up in the material editor. I'm going to choose a kind of yellowish color, just like so. Then I'm going to just come on and click and drag out a copy and we'll just bring this one down. So it's a bit darker. So now we have our two materials. We can close down the material editor. Let's apply the yellow material to the banana, and then we'll apply the darker material. Okay, so you can see if we twirl down the hierarchy, we've applied the materials to the cylinder. And now we can talk about the tags hierarchy. The tag hierarchy works…
