- [Instructor] If you animate an object which is camera mapped, as soon as you move the object outside the bounds of the camera, the texture will move. So we need to bake the texture. To bake a texture, we need to have access to the UV coordinates. So we need to make this cube object that we have here editable. So what I'm going to do is actually just command-click and drag out a version of this. I'm going to disable what we have here, just so we're working with just this cube. What we need to do next is make this editable and I'm going to press C on the keyboard to convert this to a polygonal object. And then we get a UVW tag. The UVW tag stores the 3D coordinates, which defines how the material will be mapped onto the geometry. So the first thing I want to do is set up some proper UV coordinates for this object. We can come into layout and use body paint, UV edit. And first thing I'm going to do is just delete this…
