Base Atom shader

- [Instructor] In this lesson, we'll quickly go over building our base shader for the atom element using two materials and a material blend node. The first thing we want to do is go and come up to our sphere object, right click, and we're going to add a red shift object tag. And the reason why is because right now, our sphere is not going to be perfectly circular. If I switch over to my red shift window and press play, you'll notice that we're getting some very hard edges here. We're not getting quite a perfect sphere, and that's because we don't have tesselation turned on just yet. So if we come to our object tag and we come to geometry and select override, and then enable tesselation, you'll notice that right away our sphere becomes perfect which is exactly what we want. So now from here we can go and start building our shader. I'm going to go and create a new red shift material. I'm just going to create a basic material…
