Breaking objects into pieces
- [Instructor] Let's look at how we can break objects apart in Cinema 4D. Now we use the new Voronoi Fracture object. It was new in release 18, but has been vastly improved in release 19. So I'll add one to the scene and then I'll press Shift and create a cube, and it'll become a child of the Voronoi Fracture. Immediately you'll see that there are some fractures on the cube and they've been colorized. If we select the object, we can come over to the sources and the Voronoi Fracture object works by using point generators to fracture surfaces. So we have one created by default, and we can increase the point amount, and immediately in the view port you'll see it update to reflect this new point count. So it's not just these point generators and the shader sources that we can use, if we delete these. So I'll just delete these from the sources list.
