Compositing mutipass renders

- [Instructor] So now let's look at compositing multi-pass renders, and I've just set up my version of Photoshop so it's a bit simpler, a bit cleaner, less of these panels, and all I did was just come over to ones that I didn't want and just chose Close Tab Group, so I've just got my layers, my channels, and my properties, and you may not have the rulers up. That might not be needed at the moment, so just Command + R. We'll toggle those on and off. Okay, so let's look at the layers that we have here. We've got the diffuse which is all our color information here. Then we have our shadows, and then we have the ambient channel which was that luminous material that we'd set up for these, and we have the reflection as well. So how are we going to make this look like a nice final image? Well, let's start by compositing our shadow pass over the diffuse, and what we want to do there is change the blending mode to multiply, and so there we have the shadows being multiplied over the diffuse…
