- [Andy] Some of the core concepts to grasp when working in Cinema 4D are modeling, lighting, materials, working with cameras, and rendering, and from a motion graphics point of view, you'll need to also understand animation. I know it sounds like a lot, and if you're a complete beginner and unfamiliar with things like how to navigate the C-4D interface, I suggest you watch learning Cinema 4D R20 and then come back here. It's a course I created to get you up and running with the fundamentals before we take a deeper dive in this course. I often think of the creative process as a kind of funnel with your ideas at the top, and it's like going through stages of planning and preparation, and you distill those down to the final direction of your idea, and as we can see here, some might not even get through the funnel.
