Create a bumpy material
- [Instructor] When you look at objects and surfaces in the real world they are rarely perfectly smooth. They have irregularities and these catch the light and give the surface it's character. Channels such as bump, normal, and displacement, allow us to add the appearance of surface imperfection without having to model those details. So let's just focus on the bump channel for now we'll open up this b material and we have the bump channel enabled here and we know that we need to give it a gray scale shader or this could be an image as well. I'm going to use a noise shader. And we can come into here and we can certainly change some of the perimeters for the sake of this demonstration I'm just going to leave everything as it is and just close this down. Now we've created a bumpy material here and it looks pretty good from this distance. Now I want to create a displaced material as well.
