- [Instructor] Let's take a look at the all-new flowfield object. You can use a number of parameters to art direct particle flow, offering an unparalleled level of control as you design the particle movement. Now the flowfield, as you can see here, is actually a 3-D area, which is filled with a grid of cells. And each of these cells has a velocity vector which carries information about direction and speed. So when the particle enters the cell, the cell's information is passed on to the particle, and this will keep happening to the particle as it enters different cells. So with flowfields, it's all about the vectors. So you can control the cell's size with this and you can see we're getting more detail in here. Starting to get a bit slow. We'll just keep that at the default for now. And speaking of the default, the default flow is to point along the zed axis.
