Create parametric objects

- [Instructor] Let's take a look at how we create objects in Cinema 4D. To begin, let's click on the light blue icon here, and as I do so, you see a cube is created and added to the scene. The cube is part of the parametric primitive category of objects in Cinema 4D. And you'll see in the coming movies, that C4D has many different types of objects. The cube is called a parametric object because it has predefined parameters that give it the appearance you see in the viewport. If we focus on the blue icon, you'll notice that it has a black triangle in the bottom right corner. And this indicates that there are more items in this menu. So, by clicking and holding, we can reveal a number of other parametric primitive objects. We can click on the gripper button here at the top of the menu. And if we just release the mouse, this whole menu is pulled off as a pallet. This pallet can be docked in the interface, or it can be kept…
