Creating the X and Y axes

- Since our bar chart compares two values, we'll see how we can create text for our x and y axes using a little XPresso. We'll then manipulate them inside a fracture object by using a MoGraph step effector to control our axis labels. So I've got a spreadsheet here that compares the wind power capacity for a couple states, and it's a simple bar chart. And we want to tackle naming these x-axis for the states and the y-axis for the values in megawatts. So let's take a look. You can create the x and y axes by using a rectangle spline. We'll make it editable by hitting C, and we'll step into points mode, and we'll just select this point over here and delete it. Under the rectangle options there, there's Close Spline. We need to deselect that. So if you go F4 on your keyboard, you can get into the front view. I'm going to select everything, cmd+A, and then make sure that my snapping is enabled.
