Creating the first spline for the eye - CINEMA 4D Tutorial
From the course: Modeling Characters in Cinema 4D
Creating the first spline for the eye
We're going to create the first of many linear splines and align them to the template. So the first thing we're going to do is hide the eye object. And we're going to zoom in on the eye area. Now, let's go ahead and grab ourselves a linear spline. And the first thing we'll do is simply click and draw a ten point spline around the eye. So let's start in the innermost area and we'll click one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and ten. Let's select that spline and in the object manager, let's just select Close Spline. So now we've got a close spline that is pretty close to our template, but here's where we can actually grab our Move tool and just make a few adjustments. So, we've got a more even sort of distribution of those points. You know, it's still being fairly aligned to the template. Alright, that looks pretty good. And, now that we've got that spline created, we can move forward with projecting it across the surface of our eye model.
