Creating realistic noise-based materials

- [Instructor] We've all used the Cinema 4D noise shaders before to build custom materials, but did you know there's one thing that you should be doing to allow for your noise-based materials to look way more realistic? I'll show you just that in this week's Cinema 4D Weekly. So here we have a typical rock setup. So if I just double-click this rock material, I have just some noise, this nice Luka shader in the color channel as well as the bump channel to give it some extra bumpiness to it. But the problem with this is is that if you're familiar with all of these noise types, and I'm just going to click on this little arrow here, here's all of the noise types represented here, and while the stock standard noise shaders look really good on their own, to get that extra realism, this is just way too perfect.
