Creating smoke sims with Explosia

- [Instructor] Explosia FX is X-Particles' built-in smoke simulation engine. It's a pretty powerful tool for creating advanced fire and smoke simulations. While we're not going to spend a lot of time digging into the details and usage of Explosia, we will talk about how to use it to create VDBs for rendering in Redshift. Our simulation isn't very complex but it will take some time to set up, so let's go and dive right in. To get it started I've gone ahead and set up a new emitter, and we're going to use this emitter to power our Explosia FX. This emitter is actually tied to our injector via a constraint tag, so that as our injector moves our emitter moves also. I've also added a X-Particles collider tag to our sphere object so that the particles are colliding with the inside of the sphere. The next thing we need to do is go ahead and add a Explosia FX Dynamics Object. So we're just going to click on the Dynamics Objects…
