- [Instructor] Having set the object properties, and defined the emitter shape, your next move will be to the Emission Tab, where we can set and adjust particle data. So we're going to look at some Emission Modes, some of the common ones that I use. And the first one we're going to look at is Rate. Let's Press Play, and see what we've got. So the particles are being emitted at a constant rate. They're being emitted on all frames. They have the full life span, which is the full life of the Cinema 4D document, and we've got a birth rate of a thousand particles per second. So we can increase this. Get a huge number of particles being generated. We can add variation, which is crucial to getting sort of a unique organic results. Let's just drop that back down to a thousand, and we'll be able to see a little bit better what's going on, if I Press Shift + F, that's going to clear out what we have already in the scene.
