Exercise files

- [Instructor] If your membership includes access to the exercise files for this course, you can download this course's files and put them on your desktop like I've done here. Inside the exercise files folder, you'll find another sets of folders that correspond to the different chapters that have exercise files in them. As we go throughout the course, just simply open up the chapter folder and file name you see on screen. That way you can follow along with me, step by step, with the exact same files that I'm using. I wanted to point out there are several movies in this course that make use of open GL features of the view port, in particular, tesselation and also, hardware open GL preview renders. If your machine supports these features, then you'll be able to follow along. If not, don't worry because it's just a view port option and when you render, the CPU will take over so what is rendered should still work. In fact, if you turn on the interactive render region, alt R, you'll be able to see the rendered result and you can also resize the preview ratio and adjust the quality to suit your needs. If you've received an error about missing assets, such as, the HTRIs that are taken from the studio content browser, don't worry. If you have access to the content browser, you can use another HDRI, just open it up and search in the presets, I suggest maybe prime and search for HDRI, inside here, one of these folders, you'll be able to use another version such as this photo studio here. Alternatively, you can search the web for one, you could use your favorite search engine and search for free HDRI. This site also has plenty of HDRIs that are freely available and you can download one to your desktop and then, all you need to do, is open up the material, find the correct channel and texture and then just choose here to load in the image that you've downloaded. Then everything should just work. If you don't have access to the exercise files, that's okay too, you can still follow along using your own files or simply sit back and watch as I take you through each individual exercise.
