Extrude to add depth and detail

- [Instructor] We're now going to use the extrude object to add depth and detail to the splines we imported from Illustrator. So let's select these these three letters here, the L, T, and H, and what we can do in release 19 is we can add an extrude object to all of these just by pressing alt. Now we have an extrude for each object. The depth is quite large. We can set this down to something like ten. And it's a good idea to add even just a small amount of rounding to all your objects. In the real world, nothing has perfect 90 degree angle, and by adding rounding, we allow highlights to catch the edges of the model, and it just looks better. So over in caps, we can add a very small fillet cap to each one. These are going to be way too big, so what we need to do is just maybe add some steps, and drop this down. We might even be able to increase it a bit more, but we'll just leave it like that for now. Let's just spin around. Navigate around here and have a look. And we want to think…
