- [Instructor] Hello and welcome to yet another C4D weekly. In this week's video, I'm going to show you one very easy way to achieve one of my favorite animation principles inside of Cinema 4D, and that animation principle is follow-through and overlapping action. Now, follow through is the initial lag of part of an object chasing or following the part of the object that it's pulling, and the overlapping part of the animation is where that part of the object that was chasing then catches up, and goes past the resting position of the object. So, here I have a cartoony hamburger that is already animated, and you can see that I have a little bit of the animation principle of anticipation here, and then it shoots off, and then we have a little bit of overshoot just right about there. But you can see that this hamburger looks super stiff, right? So this is where we're going to add follow-through and overlapping action.
