Friction

Friction

In nature, we have bugs, volcanoes, antelopes, and many other things. But, these have nothing to do with our lesson. We also have static friction, kinetic friction, and rolling friction. In terms of CINEMA 4D's dynamics system, rolling friction is not something we are going to talk about in this topic. And, static friction and kinetic friction, even though they are separate in nature, we are going to deal with them in one, single parameter. So to speak, they are compound into one friction value. Let me create an example and explain exactly how friction works in CINEMA 4D's dynamics. I'll create a new scene. And, I will make a slab or plank. Other people like to call it a slab. Other people like to call it a plank. So I'll name it slab or plank. I'll go to the object parameters and make it 600 centimeters long, 10 centimeters high, and leave it at 200 centimeters wide. So, this is a slab or plank. I think this is a bit ridiculous. I'll call it slab. It's got few letters. Alright, I'll…
