Generate geometry from particles

- [Instructor] Generating geometry from particles is really easy, thanks to the Generate Object. In addition to the Generate Object, the basic setup involves an emitter to create the particles and some geometry. So, let's take a look at a few examples. So we have these objects that we'd like to generate onto the particles, and they've got these material on them. I'm just going to place that down, so we've got a bit more room. Let's create a generator. So I add a generator, and what we need to do is assign the emitter to it. So we'll just drag our emitter in. And next thing we need to do is make all these objects a child of the generator, and you'll see that they disappear from the viewport. So we'll just rewind and play, and you'll see that if you're emitting quite a lot of objects, the viewport is going to start to slow down. So, on the generator, you can actually choose to change the Clone Type to Instances. Rewind and Play. We're getting a bit better playback, and we can also use…
