Group Fields and remap values
- The Group field is a powerful tool in that it can group multiple fields together, which means we can reuse the same group across multiple setups. So in this scenario we have, we just play through. These fields are creating this animation on this plane position effector. So what I'd like to do is select these. And you can see actually, if I twirl this down, there's quite a bit going on here. Let twirl this back up. To get this all selected, I'm going to right click and choose group field from selection. A group field is created, and if we play back, nothing has changed in the animation. So everything is retained, we can twirl down the group field and we see that we still have those fields that we had before. A group field is an object that resides in the object manager. And you can see in the list, we can still work with these fields just as we would normally. And it makes sense to select these now and just…
