Groups and Display tabs

- [Instructor] We're now going to take a look at the groups and the display tabs. Groups are really powerful and we'll cover them in detail when we come to work with them a bit later on. But fundamentally, we can organize the different elements that make up our sims using groups. The display settings determine how the particles are visually represented in the view port, which can help differentiate between several groups. So let's just press play and see what we've got here. So we have the green dots, so this is the particle color, and this is what's being displayed. We can use any of these different shapes and things to represent the particles, so we could do some green squares or we can change that to blue squares. We could use a random color, anything from a gradient. We can actually take parameters from the particle data, such as the age, and you can see that as they get older, they'll go from blue to white.
