How to sculpt cloth wrinkles using deformers

- [EJ] Hello and welcome to another "Cinema 4D Weekly." In this video, I'm going to show you something really, really fun: a way to actually sculpt cloth or wrinkles on a surface. So really clever trick. I'm going to go ahead and just start out with a sphere. I'm going to add a lot of segments 'cause the more segments, the more definition and detail we'll have on the wrinkles. I'm just going to change this to an evenly subdivided type of sphere, like a hexahedron, and then I'm going to make this sphere editable. And then what I'm going to do is the deformer that's going to make all of this happen with the wrinkles is the Smoothing deformer. I'm going to put that as a child of our sphere. And the type of smoothing we need is Relax. This is what's going to give us the nice wrinkles.
