Import and clean up Illustrator files

- [Instructor] In the previous movie, we prepared illustrated artwork so that we could import it into Cinema 4D. So let's begin by importing the artwork. We can come over here and choose file, merge. We can also come over to here and choose merge objects or command shift O. So we'll just click here, and we'll select the Illustrator 8 file that we created, and choose open. The Illustrator import dialogue opens up, and we can just leave this at the default. I'll click okay, and there it is in the center of our world. So we'll just rename this to logo, and then I'll press on here on the plus and 12 down, and we can see all the different splines that make up this logo. So if we look through them, we can see each one represents a letter, and what we can do is group these now, so I will take the first three and press alt G and make this null. I'll rename it to the, and grab the next lot. Alt G, double click, Landon. The next one's going to be Hotel. Alt G. And then these three, we've got…
