Importing Illustrator files
- [Instructor] Illustrator files for something that most of us will encounter at some point in time when creating motion graphics. So in this exercise, we're going to look at how we can import an Illustrator file directly into Cinema 4D. While making some adjustments first. So I want you to navigate in your exercise files to the 02 folder. In there, I want you to open the 0203 Illustrator file. When you do that, it should open inside of Illustrator. Now, if your version at Illustrator doesn't look like this, I want you to go to the upper right-hand corner, click on this little drop down here and make sure you're in the essentials workspace. You may need to come down here and reset essentials to make things looks like this. Now, I want you to come to the upper left corner of the interface and grab the white arrow tool, which is called the direct selection tool. And then I want you to click once on this little snowboard…
