- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to cover two main areas of modeling in Cinema 4D. The first main area is actually creating shapes using splines, which, if you've ever used applications like Photoshop or Illustrator, think of splines kind of like paths. So what they are are actual lines that are created as they get joined between different points. Now, these elements don't have any three-dimensional data until you actually add them into a generator. So let's start by actually creating a spline shape. I want to create some rough mountains. Now, to do that, I want to start not by being in the Perspective view here, but by actually being in one of the orthogonal views. So I'll go to the upper right corner of the Viewport here, and I'll click once on this icon to bring up my different views. And this time, I want to start in the Front view. So I'll click that same icon in the upper right corner of the Front Viewport.…
