Lighting with Sky objects

- [Narrator] In addition to the lights that we have in our scene, we're going to look at another method of illumination called Image Based Lighting. This allows for highly detailed lighting to be used to illuminate the scene and bring out the reflectivity of materials. Whenever your working with reflective materials, you do need to have some form of environment or objects to bring out that reflectivity. So, what we're going to do is create a new material and I will name this Sky. in the Material Editor and we don't need the Reflectance Channel or the Color Channel, so we'll turn those off and we'll just enable the Luminance Channel. I'm going to click the ellipses button and I'm going to load in this Room-Pano as a texture. Now, unfortunately, this is just a jpeg. It's not an HDR. It's an image that I created by filming the room with a 360-degree app on my phone and so, it does give us enough reference which is kind of the goal here. But, if you can use HDR, it will be a lot better…
