Lighting particles and volumetric rendering

- [Instructor] Adding lights to our scenes and enabling soft shadows will really transform the look of our particle renders when using the x particle's material. And, we can use the light tag to adjust the quality of the shadows. We can also restrict certain scene lights from lighting our particles. So, let's have a look at this scene. So, we've got some objects here. They're particle emitting blocks, so we've got a pretty cool looking scene here. And, currently when you render, there are no visible particles. So, what we need to do is find our emitters and assign an x particle's material to them. And, they're all inside these block hierarchies, here. And, instead of twirling down all of those and searching through them, I'm just going to use the search field, here. And, now with them all selected, I'm going to create a new x particle's material and use the function to apply them all. And, now if render that, you're going to start to see something. Now, this is looking pretty cool…
