- [Instructor] Let's take a look at a typical workflow for blocking out an object using only primitives. Our goal is to replicate this sports drink bottle. So I'm just going to dock the picture viewer in my interface, and I'll just move it over to here. I'm going to hide a few things, just command, click, and drag on these and you can hide them, fold them up. Won't show the window title and we'll just bring this over. So we can see the bottle now and we can also see our viewport. Going to start by creating some cylindrical shapes, so we'll come over to the primitives menu and create a cylinder and call the cylinder 1, 'cause we're going to have a few in here. I want to make sure the position y is around about 85. And the radius is 55 with a height of 170. And if we press n b on the keyboard this shows us our gouraud shading with lines. We can then increase the height segments to around 12, and we'll keep the rotation segments as they are. We also want to come over to caps and add the…
