For this alien I've, you know because he's kind of a Martian, he's you know, he's an intelligent being. I, you know, wanted to give him some kind of space suit or a helmet. I'd started drawing some of my influences from like 1950s science fiction comic books, B movies, stuff like that, where, you know, for the most part, it's a fish bowl on top of, you know, the character's head. Thought I would play around with ideas with that. You know, some different tubing ideas, but you know again, it just was all just too derivative. It's like oh yeah, okay, it's the fishbowl. It's the classic kind of thing and I didn't want to do that. Once I decided I didn't want to do fishbowl, I was like okay, I'm going to go down a different road. And I remembered, I had you know, a bunch of robot references too. So I was like, oh, yeah, sure, why not? I mean, basically, you know a helmet could be, you know, be it's a container. You just take the guts of a robot out and put in a person. And so, I started…
