Modify objects with deformers

- In this video, we're going to use deformers to bend the tube and we'll add beveled edges to the platonic. Let's start by bending the tube. And first I want to just set this tube up a bit better because in order for a deformer to be effective, we need to ensure that the geometry we give the deformer has enough segments, so that in the case of the bend, it will bend smoothly. So I'll just adjust the inner radius. And I've got some values here that I know should work nicely for my purposes. As I increase the height, you can see it gets very, very tall with only four segments. This is not going to bend nicely at all. So we need to increase the height segments to something around 50. And you can see because we've got the wire frame overlay on, which is available here, gouraud shading lines. You see that now these polygons are evened out a bit better.
