Motion graphic breakdown

- [Instructor] Let's look at some graphics we'll be creating in this course in order to better understand what makes a motion graphic. There are four things that all of these animations have in common. They're made up a color palette, they have textures, they have pacing, which is the animation style and transition between elements, and then they usually have typography. So as long as you have three out of the four of these different elements, you have a motion graphic. It's important to note that we're not creating visual effects. We're not superimposing flames on top of video footage. That's a whole different series of things. So as we continue to move throughout the rest of this course, we will be exploring the ins and outs of creating and working with motion graphics.
