- [Instructor] Now we can navigate the view port. Let's turn our attention to moving objects in 3D space. We build our scenes by manipulating objects. So moving objects is an integral part of working in 3D. We can move objects in a number of ways, but the most important thing to remember is that to be able to move an object, it needs to be selected. Cinema 4D has many selection tools and some are specific to certain component modes. And for the most part, when it comes to selecting objects, you're probably going to stick to the live selection and the rectangular selection tools at least to start with. The live selection tool allows you to paint select by clicking and dragging. Common to this selection tools is the ability to add and subtract from a selection to select and the select multiple objects. So, I will click off into a blank area, which will de-select everything.
