Optimize scenes and render settings

- [Instructor] In this movie, we will look at some more render settings and how we can optimize them. And it's worth noting that you should always be working with your scenes, building them up with instances where you can. So whenever you can, turn on render instances for objects, which will save geometry, and save time sending the scene to the render engine. Because we know Octane is made of two parts. You've got that stand-alone application, which is the render itself, and this is the same no matter what 3D software you're working with. And the second is the plugin for 3D software, which, in our case is Cinema 4D, and this plugin acts as the link between the program and the stand-alone renderer. So we don't want to waste any of our render time sending a heavy scene if we can optimize it, and similarly, we want to spend less time sampling the image if we can help it as well. So the goal is just to speed up render times always. So one of the main things that you're gonna run into is…
