- [Instructor] The next major element to approach in our scene is the clumping of the spiraling particles. For this effect we'll be using XP constraints to create connections between the particles and keep them from separating. XP constraints is a newer type of dynamics in X Particles 4. They allow you to create invisible connections between particles in order to achieve cloth, fluid, and viscus-like setups without a heavy simulation. They're essentially tiny invisible springs connecting two or more particles together. For this scene we're going to be using them to clump the particles together in a viscus like effect so that they spiral around the scene together as opposed to separating, let's go and jump in. So the first thing we're going to do is I need to change some of the settings for my spiral particles to get the speed and look correct before we move on.
