- [Instructor] For the ultimate level of control over particle placement, there's the particle painter tool. Let's take a look at how it works. So in this scene we've just got some text that we'd like to paint onto. So that's our geometry. And so the particle painter needs some geometry. And it is some MoText, but I needed to put it into a connect object for it to work. So, that's all we need to begin with. And if we choose the particle painter tool, you can see that we have this interface and it's all grayed out. That's because we're on frame 0. If I press g we'll go onto frame 1. I'm just going to press f to come back again. You can see we've got this icon here that's saying ah, you're not in the right frame yet. So that's just what that is. Now I'm going to change the display to hidden line so it's a bit easier to see. And I'm going to press g to go forward a frame. And now you can see I've got this brush, which is reacting to the surfaces of the geometry. So I can see the preview…
