- [Instructor] Hello, and welcome to another C4D Weekly. In previous C4D Weekly videos I've touched on a few new features added to Cinema 4D R20, like fields, and delay, and decay modifier layers. In this week's video, I'm going to introduce you to a new powerful piece of the field system called Freeze layers, and how they can help you reveal volume meshes, so here is a scene that I built. It is a cube with a bunch of little cones that are looking like drips, and if I could just go to the end of this animation you can see all these little drips, and basically I just have them animating down in the Y position to make it look like this thing is kind of dripping. Got this liquid gold, and there's my mesher. Got a little smoothing deformer in there just to smooth everything out that's coming from our Fog volume here in all of these objects, and then I just have a cube underneath.
