Product shot lighting concepts
- [Instructor] So now we're going to look at some product lighting concepts, and I've just done a simple search for this kind of thing, and I'm just looking at the images and observing what I can see here. And one thing is apparent, that if we look at this one the subject is very small and the lighting is large relative to the subject. So we see that in a lot of these images that we have a curved backdrop, kind of a cyclorama, you wouldn't want any harsh shadows here so you would want to curve it out so that we can create a smooth transition, and this one uses a light tent, and you can see that this is kind of of like a more of a home setup by the looks of it. You've got these desk lamps, they're shooting through some kind of diffuse material, well to create a diffused lighting setup this is a light tent, and you get a lot of light bouncing from all around the edges of this.
