- [Instructor] Before we dive into the details let's go over how we create a basic particle sim. So you don't need to worry about any of the settings as we'll cover these in more detail throughout the course. For now just observe a typical workflow. So what I want to do first is add a system object. So I'm going to come over to the X-Particles menu and choose xpSystem and that adds the system object into the object manager here and you can see that there already is an xpEmitter inside the system. Now to see the results of this all we have to do is press play. And there isn't really anything more to it then that. So I'm just going to press play. And you can see that we have some particles being generated. That's because the xpEmitter has already got settings defined to allow you to see something in the view port and that's great.
