- [Instructor] To complete this shot, we need to render it. First I'd like to set up depth of field in the camera and add some post processing. So we'll come over and fire up the live viewer, and then we'll come over to our Octane camera, camera tag. And setting up depth of field is quite straight forward. If we're in the thin lens tab, we can just turn off auto focus, and that gives us a bit more control over how we can pick the depth and things like that. Now if we adjust our aperture and f-stop, along with the focal depth, these are the settings which will control the depth of field. So I'll maybe bring our f-stop up. And if we adjust the aperture quite drastically, you can see the depth of field happening. It's very quick and very responsive in the live viewer. Now to pick the focal depth, there's a number of things we can do.
