- When it comes to render time, volumes can be incredibly tricky. They're often the source of a lot of noise issues. And it's very important to understand how to clean that noise up to get good looking renders. We're going to go and look at how we can clean this particular render up. The first thing I'm going to do is enable bucket mode in my render view. So that I'm seeing something closer to my final render. As you can tell, that's pretty different from what we originally had with progressive mode. But you can also see a lot of noise happening all throughout this volume. Let's look at how we can clean that up. The first thing I want to do is start with my dome light. In the volume section, we have both contribution scale and samples. This is where we want to increase our samples in order to make sure that that light is as pure as it can be when it hits that volume. I'm going to go ahead and increase this by…
