Saving and loading presets
- [Instructor] Presets are a useful way of improving workflow. You can reuse regular setups and settings and share these setups with others. They can also be a great place to start when developing a particle sim further. So let's have a look at creating a preset for turbulence modifier, and we'll add a emitter and we'll just see what we've got. So we've got our regular turbulence here unless you say we want to change the settings to Curl, that's too much, so we just bring this down a bit, maybe change it around, and, you know, you just play with your settings until you get a look that you're happy with. And let's say that that, if we give ourselves a few more frames... Let's say we're happy with that. And so we can come down and save a preset, and this dialogue box opens up, and we'll give it a description, so Nice Curl, and we'll call this Nice Curl as well. Choose OK, and now that's saved. So if we Restore to Defaults, we can then load in a preset, got our Nice Curl here, choose OK,…
