Set up a project for tracking

- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to set up our project so that we're ready for motion tracking. And one of the first things we'd like to do is check the project frame rate. We need to make sure that that matches the footage that we're going to track. So the footage we're going to track is set at 30 frames per second, and we can see in our project settings that the frames per second is set at 30. If you can't see that, then just press command D or control D and you'll bring up the project settings. Then we'll still come over to our render settings and just verify that the frame rates match. Let's close this down. And the reason why we're verifying that is when you import a shot, the motion tracker will not adjust the frames per second if you're using an image sequence. But if you import a movie file, it knows the data that's stored in the movie file and will set everything up. So, it's just a few more things to remember when working with image sequences.
