Setting up multipass renders

- [Instructor] At the beginning of this chapter we witnessed the flexibility using multi-pass renders affords us. Now let's look at what we need to change in our render settings in order to set it up. So I'm going to open my render settings. I'm just going to press this button here. And we will firstly enable multi-pass. Now to add multi-passes you can right-click here, and you can see all the passes available. Or I tend to just come over and press this button that actually says multi-pass, and you can do the same thing. Which passes do we need to add? Well, the first thing we need to do is look at our materials. That will give us a really good indication of what passes we need to add. So if we come over to one of the materials here, we can see that we have some color. We have the reflectance channel on. This material uses the luminance channel, and then the other materials seem to have very similar properties, so color and reflectance. So I know that I would want to have my diffuse…
