Standard particle dynamics - CINEMA 4D Tutorial
From the course: Cinema 4D: Dynamics
Standard particle dynamics
Another great way of creating geometry for dynamic simulations is by using the standard particle system in Cinema 4D. For all of you that are not familiar with the standard particles, I invite you to watch Rob Garrott's great video, Understanding the Emitter Object, in the CINEMA 4D Essentials 9: Particles and Dynamics tutorial series on lynda.com. That will explain everything you need to know about standard particles, and more. So, let's proceed. Creating dynamic simulations using the standard particle system in Cinema 4D is so simple, that I've decided not to make a tutorial about it. Thank you for watching. Ha, ha, no no. I'll show you. It's very simple, go to the Simulate menu, Particle sub menu, and create an emitter. Of course, we need the emitter to emit an object so, we'll create an object, a cube in this case. Make the cube a child of the emitter. Select the emitter, change Show Objects to On, so we can actually see the objects generated by the emitter and then I'll just turn…
