Stitching the nose to the mouth
Next, we will attach the mouth to the face. Then, we need to use the mouth shape as a basis to extrude some more geometry to fill out the rest of the face. So let's select our mouth object and make it Visible. And we can see it's still in NURBS, so why don't we go ahead and click and make that Editable. We'll go into Poly mode, select All. And just be sure our normals are facing the right way. Which they're not. So let's reverse those normals. And now we will select our eye and our mouth object, right click, and choose Connect Objects Delete. And now we can Zoom in to where we're going to start stitching it together. Now I can see right here that this stigma stitched together a little strangely because we've got such a wide polygon here and a short one here. And I would like to have this connect about midway to the nostril. So I'm going to break one of my cardinal rules. We're going to go into Appoint mode. We're going to select a Knife.
