Test the solve with geometry

- [Instructor] So with our camera solved, our coordinate system set, we now need to test our solution. So let's do that now. I'm going to come over here and use this little handy many to create a cube. And this massive, way to big for our scene scale. So, I'm going to click on the size here, and that'll highlight everything. And what I can do is just change this to something like 5, hold down command, click enter. And then that'll adjust the X and Y and set at the same time. So, I will navigate over. I'm going to just change my view, just so we can see what's going on here. And you can see that it's actually lying underneath the table, or partially underneath. So what you want to do is move this up. So I just need to move it up, half of its height. And if we come back to our perspective view, we can move this into position. Now, I don't want to move it on the Y-axis, so what I can do is just uncheck this and then if I select... I move to... I can actually just move it on the X- and Zed Axis. Now I want to be a bit more careful than that. So I'm just going to move it in, so that it's kind of lying on this grid. If we play 3 now, we can see, that cube is nicely locked on. Okay, so that's looking very good to me. I'm going to pause it here. Another important thing to do is just to kind of test how it's working elsewhere in the short. And so, I'm going to command, click and drag out a copy. And I'll move it over to this grid line, like so. And then, I'm just going to move it up on the Zed. Probably around here, so we're on that other grid line now. And let's just play through. And just deselect. So they are looking nicely tracked on. To take this further, we would add real objects, like the scene and render for compositing. And make sure you do save this, because we are going to be coming back to it, in a later Chapter. And so by placing simple geometry, we can now be confident that we have achieved a successful match move. So, congratulations, you have complete the camera tracker workflow and this is an achievement, really because tracking is difficult and you need to get those fundamentals down, build up your confidence. And just keep tracking shots. So hopefully this has given you the confidence to try another shot.
